Project HOME
QHC's Project HOME program that has successfully provided stable housing to over
1,200 households and 3,000 adults and children.
Project HOME provides rental agency services, resident service coordination, and eviction prevention services in partnership with landlords to rent to tenants who have experienced homelessness and/or housing insecurity throughout Maine. The Project HOME team of seven (7) assists landlords by managing all aspects of the tenancy related to tenant duties, leasing-up and move-in details, rental assistance program navigation, physical maintenance of the unit, and repairs/damages. Project HOME also helps tenants access community resources related to food, healthcare, education, and employment.
RESULTS: 99% of Project HOME's tenancies successfully complete their year-long tenancies due to our strong landlord/tenant relationships, a reliable system of accountability to resolve lease violations as soon as they arise, and our financial guarantee for each unit.
